Biology majors should schedule BIOLOGY.290 Writing in Biology in their sophomore year. If BIOLOGY.290 cannot be scheduled, ENGLISH.201 English Composition II may be substituted, with the advisor’s recommendation and the department chairperson’s approval. In addition to general education requirements, additional free elective hours are required to meet the university requirement for a baccalaureate degree.
