As per PRP3604: All students earning a first baccalaureate degree will take at least 30 of their last 45 credits at Bloomsburg University, no more credits are required than the 30 credits. All first baccalaureate students will take at least 50% of credits required for the Major from a PASSHE university. Bloomsburg University may require up to a maximum of 50% of the Major credits. Program exceptions to the policy are to be approved by the Office of the Chancellor.
In addition to 63 semester hours of general education requirements, the program in finance requires 24 hours of core business courses, 24 hours of courses specific to the major, plus 9 hours of business electives to meet the university requirement for a bachelor of science in business administration degree.

Electives – (9 credits) Electives in Business: Any 300 or 400 level course offered within Zeigler College of Business other than the core courses, can be a business elective for business majors in any department. BUSED.101 Introduction to Business has been approved as a general education Goal 6 (3 points) and BUSED.333 Business Communication has been approved as a general education Goal 1 (2 points) and Goal 2 (1 point). These courses are NOT used as business elective.
