Option A2) 56.122 Graphical User Interfaces in Java or other 300 or higher 56 course (3 to 4 credits)

Option B1) 56.123 Visual Basic I (3)

Option B2) 56.223 Visual Basic II (3)

Mathematics Electives (6 credits 53.300 or above; including at least 1 course from the following list):

53.322 Differential Equations

53.331 Modern Geometry

53.360 Number Theory

53.421 Advanced Calculus

53.422 Complex Variables

BS Concentration - minimum 9 credits from one of the following groups:

Applied Math (3 courses from 53.322, 342, 343, 361, 381, 385, 461, 462, 471, or 472)

Computer Science (3 courses from 56.221 & higher)

Statistics (3 courses from 53.240, 243, 342, 343, 441, 446, 461, 462)

Actuarial Science (3 courses from 53.343, 381, 461, 462)

Grad School Prep (53.310 and 421 are both required, one of which counts as a core course in the major. 2 courses from 53.360, 385, 411, 422, 451)

Physics (3 courses from 54.300 & higher)

Courses 53.311 and 53.305 may not be counted as requirements for the major.
