Medical Imaging (B.S)

Administered by Biological and Allied Health Sciences

Effective Summer 2018

The MI program requires 2-3 years (60-90 credits) at Bloomsburg and 1-2 years (30-60 credits) of clinical education in a hospital-based program. The time spent in each will depend on which clinical option(s) is/are selected. Most students begin their studies at BU and then transfer to hospital sites, but the two portions of the program can be done in either order. Students should apply for admission to hospitals the year before the clinical program is to begin. Admission into clinical is not automatic or guaranteed; high scholastic achievement, knowledge of the profession, and good interpersonal skills are required. Pre-requisite courses for hospital clinical programs vary, so see your advisor for details.
