Business Education (B.S.Ed.)

Department of Information Technology, Analytics and Business Education

Effective Fall 2021

As per PRP3604: All students earning a first baccalaureate degree will take at least 30 of their last 45 credits at Bloomsburg University, no more credits are required than the 30 credits. All first baccalaureate students will take at least 50% of credits required for the Major from a PASSHE university. Bloomsburg University may require up to a maximum of 50% of the Major credits. Program exceptions to the policy are to be approved by the Office of the Chancellor.

Note:  Grades of C or better are required for all courses listed as “Required for K-12 Business Education.”  3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
Certification - Upon completion of the curriculum, receipt of a recommendation from the university and successfully passing the PRAXIS Level I and II exams specified for business computer and information technology certification, students will be issued a K-12, Level I certificate by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
