Internships and Study Abroad Programs
Credits acquired through Internships and/or Study Abroad Programs in Latin American countries (Mexico and Puerto Rico exchange programs through Bloomsburg University and/or other abroad programs) must be directly related to the minor and approved by the LAS advisory board.
Additional Courses by Petition
Students may petition for approval for the LAS minor of courses not mentioned above as focus courses. To do so the student (or the instructor) must provide the LAS coordinator with a course syllabus, that will be discussed for approval by the board. French, Portuguese and Indigenous languages may be included in this section.
Waiver(s): The coordinator may waive program requirements on a case by case basis when appropriate and after consultation with the advisory board.
