Physics (B.S.) (2004)

Administered by the Physics and Engineering Technology Department

Effective Fall, 2004

For a major in Physics, the bachelor of science program requires 71 semester hours; 15 of the required semester hours count toward general education requirements. Thus, in addition to the above program requirements, students must complete 35 to 44 semester hours in general education. The balance of the university's 120 semester hours requirements for a bachelor's degree comes from electives.

Bachelor of Science required courses include:

54.211 General Physics I

54.212 General Physics II

54.302 Mechanics: Dynamics

54.310 Modern Atomic Physics

54.314 Electricity and Magnetism

54.315 Electronics
